Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne says their scrum is one of the areas that they have been working on, and forwards coach Graham Dewes has done a great job.

Byrne says he is looking forward to seeing their scrum perform today.

He says they have got very good props that handle the Northern Hemisphere game really well, and also some really good Drua players that have done well in the scrum.

The Flying Fijians coach says last week, they had an issue with a brake foot, which they accept as it is a new law, but they should be fine.

Byrne says they have had a really good week at training together and forming their combinations.

He adds he thought they improved as the game went on against the wallabies and is looking forward to the match up against Scotland today.

Meanwhile, Flying Fijians fullback Salesi Raiyasi says growing up he would always see photos of his father Filipe Raiyasi, with the Fiji team and it is something special to now be donning the Fiji jersey.

An emotional Raiyasi says his father who also played fullback for the Flying Fijians will be coming to watch him play today.

Fiji takes on Scotland today at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium.

The curtain-raiser match will see the Republic of Fiji Military Forces take on the British Army team at midday.

Ticket prices are $150 for the grandstand, $100 for the gold section, embankment adult concrete is $40 while children under 12 are $15, grass is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12.

The Flying Fijians will face Tonga in their next game on the 30th of August.
