19-year-old Vodafone Fiji Bati winger Jethro Rinakama scored on his NRL debut for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs against the North Queensland Cowboys helping them to win 12-8.
Rinakama debuted for the Bati last year at just 18, and continues to rise through the ranks with heart, humility, and hard work.
The young winger is no stranger to the game, as he is the son of former Naitasiri and Fiji 15s backline utility, Adriu Rinakama.
Jethro is carrying on the legacy of his father while forging his own path, as his achievement is being celebrated by his family, village, and the nation.
Rinakama has fellow Bati forward Viliame Kikau in the Bulldogs for company.
The Bulldogs next match is against the Dragons at 7.30pm next Saturday.
